St. Croix, Virgin Islands (U.S.)— Senator Genevieve Whitaker, Legislative Secretary and Chairwoman of the Committee on Education & Workforce Development is elated to announce that the Legislative Youth Advisory Council (LYAC) has been reinstituted by Senate President Donna Frett-Gregory! The LYAC which is codified as Title 2, Chapter 9, of the Virgin Islands Code was established on October 7, 2011.
As a former advisor, Senator Whitaker has championed for many years for the reboot of the Youth Advisory Council. The Legislature is now accepting applications. All applicants must submit a resume, an essay, and complete an online application using the link below.
